Community service is our primary goal. At the Kiwanis Club of Merrick, we strive to fulfill the Kiwanis vision of changing the world, one child and one community at a time. Through the participation of our members, we've helped to educate our children, support our community, and establish ourselves as the premier service organization in Merrick. Here on our web site, you can find out about how we're working to accomplish this mission and why. Over the years, we've completed numerous community service projects. During the holiday season we raise funds by wrapping presents at Roosevelt Field Mall. We send children each year to a week of sleep away camp at Kamp Kiwanis. We host an annual ball for Senior Citizens. We collect and distribute food to those in need and also collect school supplies and provide students in need with all the supplies they need to go back to school with. Providing over $5,000in scholarships to students in our community each year. This is but a short list of our many accomplishments.
